Welcome to 5/6W
5/6W have had a successful start to 2019. We are organised and ready to continue our journey of learning.
Students in 5/6W explore ideas, find solutions to problems, work collaboratively and challenge themselves and their peers, in a supportive, safe and motivating learning environment. They are provided with opportunities to self-regulate their own learning and achieve individual learning goals.
In Science and Technology in Term 2, we enjoyed investigating and comparing the properties of solids, liquids and gases and exploring how materials can be changed and manipulated through combining materials or separating mixtures. Students conducted investigations, hypothesised what they thought would happen and then observed and documented their findings. The following photographs are of some of the investigations that they conducted.
