Welcome to K/6O!
K/6O have had a busy and fun year. Our students have enjoyed some hands-on learning exploring materials in Science this year. They made models of traditional Aboriginal Humpies using recycled materials and materials collected from the playground.
K/6O have continued their weekly cooking program, working towards developing some independent living skills in the kitchen and communicating choices.
Some of our students were fortunate to attend a Multi-Sports Day for students with disabilities from other schools at the Newcastle Forum. Students participated in skill development for a variety of different sports, such as tennis, cricket, golf and soccer and all had a great time, despite being very tired by the end of the day!
We are looking forward to more fun and learning ahead!
